RONALD REDA - EXECUTIVE CHEF

From his childhood days in Chicago, Ron Reda has loved and participated in the pleasures of making great food and smiling faces. Heavily influenced by his Italian traditions, family life and most notably a father who was passionate about cooking himself, Ron was destined to make a great name for himself in culinary circles. While in the Navy, he innocently prepared a simple pasta dish “a la Reda” to assist a friend in the galley of a sub which caught the instant attention of the ship’s captain. So impressed was the naval officer that he personally and successfully labored to see that Chef Reda serve in the highest and most noble capacity, that of the office of the President of the United States. For five years Ron served as Kitchen Supervisor in the White House during the Clinton era. In this capacity, he served at the pleasure of the President, providing meals for the first family and all visitors and dignitaries. Chef Reda gained further experience as chef at several notable restaurants in Washington, D.C. and Vermont.
